Introducing Audio Compass Navigator

Audio Compass is the first of a new generation of broadcast codecs that is entirely PC-based, operating over the Internet rather than over telephone lines. This allows you to transfer low-delay, crystal-clear audio over the internet (Audio Over IP). Using Audio Compass, you can produce live radio broadcasts wherever there is high speed Internet connectivity.

Audio Compass provides a solid replacement to ISDN, with flexibility that ISDN could never match. It's a no-brainer when you want to remotely broadcast, and is an excellent solution for live radio from any location. ISDN is more difficult to find and is becoming obsolete as a technology. Other options are expensive, requiring a "degree" in the setup and implementation of the software/hardware.

Since Audio Compass is a software solution, once your computer is configured for connectivity (access to the Internet), Audio Compass just works! Broadband Internet connections, including wireless and wired are everywhere (well, almost) and Audio Compass utilizes the Internet to provide a very simple solution for your broadcasting needs.

Audio Compass is UPnP compliant software. This means, if you are behind UPnP NAT/firewall, then Audio Compass will automatically open tunneling ports and connect to other users. If you are behind a NAT router that does not support UPnP, you can manually open incoming ports on your router. You can use the settings dialog in AudioCompass to manually configure the networking details to match the settings for your network. In most cases you will not need to think about the network details. Audio Compass will do the configuring for you on the fly. In other words the software just works.

Make Audio Compass one of your broadcast solutions!
